ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

POSITION SUMMARY:

This clerical position will be responsible for general office functions in an office setting . Candidate must have 2 years verifiable experience with basic office and computer skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • 2-4 Years verifiable work experience
  • Superior Attendance work history
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines ahead of schedule
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)products; proficiency in internet browsing knowledge of other systems such as Fieldglass, Bullhorn or SAP helpful
  • Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive issues
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels both internal and external
  • Willingness to think “outside the box” .
  • Be Proactive, take initiative
  • Data Entry- 1 Year Experience
  • Customer Service – 1 Year Experience
  • Administrative Assistant in Staffing Setting – 2 Years Experience

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond independently to inquiries of all types from corporate offices, clients and employees
  • Prepare and edit documents and reports as directed by managers
  • Ensure proper inventory of office supplies and other miscellaneous duties
  • Maintain payroll reports organized
  • Submit weekly payroll to corporate office on time
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Perform basic bookkeeping functions
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for management and sales reps
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings , both on the phone or in person
  • Prepare pre employment documentation (drug screening, E-verify)
  • Develop and maintain database

  • Have knowledge of Human Resource policies ; review said policies and procedures with all new hires.
  • Maintain oversight of OHS (Occupational Health & Safety)programs.
  • Provide statistical data for tracking any and all incidents in the workplace, as well as Post Accident and Reasonable Suspicion drug testing.

SCHEDULE AND PAY:

Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Rate: $16.00 – $18.00 DOE
